WHOTDILCH 4 October

What Happened on this Day in LDS Church History?
On this day in 1855, the three masted sailing ship Julia Ann, sailing from Australia to San Francisco, runs into a coral reef of the the uninhabited atoll of Manuae, known as Scilly Island, in the Society Islands. There were 28 Latter-day Saints on the vessel. Five Saints died.  everyone else was rescued and completed their voyage to San Francisco.
