We school at home that we may learn to love and serve our King.
Our parents teach us faithfully the joy the Gospel brings.
We learn by study and by faith, to seek for wisdom’s store
that we may learn to do His will, and live with Him once more.
We’ve hands to serve and hearts to God, that’s what our parents teach.
Serving each other cheerfully, we worship God all week.
Searching the scriptures prayerfully, we seek for light Divine.
Our family is forever and beyond the end of time.
When we are grown and leave our home, to go throughout the earth,
we’ll share His Gospel valiantly, and teach to all their worth.
The lessons learned at mother’s knee, will strengthen us each day,
as we go forth to do His will and seek that Brighter Day.
Some day we’ll choose to build a home, we’ll kneel each day in prayer,
embracing children Heaven sends and guiding them with care.
The memory of our father’s home, his courage, faith and love,
will bless our lives and bind our hearts and lead us home above.

to the tune of “We Listen To A Prophet’s Voice” Hymn 22 in the 1985
Hymn Book of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.).
