What Happened on this Day in LDS Church History?
On this day in1861, the Overland Telegraph was completed through Salt Lake City and Brigham Young sent the first telegraph. The first telegraph sent from Salt Lake was to Jeptha Homer Wade, co-founder of Western union telegraph.
