WHOTDILCH 10 October

What Happened on this Day in LDS Church History?
On this day in church history, Gail Halvorsen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a U. S. Air Force pilot, part of the Berlin Airlift, and was the first candy bomber. He tied candy to small parachutes and dropped them to children in Germany. He would wiggle the wings of his aircraft to signal to the children which plane was his.
