WHOTDILCH 8 October

What Happened on this Day in LDS Church History?
On this day in 1829, Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery bought the large Bible that Joseph later used for the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible.  The Bible they purchased was published in 1828 by H. and E. Phinney Company in Cooperstown, New York. Joseph Smith and Olive Cowdery purchased the Bible at the E. B. Grandin bookstore in Palmyra, New York. In the next year, it was E. B Grandin who printed the first Book of Mormon.
