What Happened on this Day in LDS Church History?
On this day in 1950, Latter-Day Saint and 67 year old former mayor of Salt Lake City, Ab Jenkins, in his Mormon Meteor III roadster, broke 26 world and American records at the Bonneville Salt Flats. He was known as the "World's Safest Speedster" logging on more than a million miles with no accidents!
