What Happened on this day in LDS Church History?
On this Day in 1848, Elder Addison Pratt returned from serving a five year mission in French Polynesia, where he had baptized 1200 Saints. He had been called by the Prophet Joseph Smith in May 1843, and he arrived with two other Elders in Tubuai 30 April 1844.
