What Happened on this day in LDS Church History?
On this day in 1846, the first city in Nebraska was created when Brigham Young and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles selected the site for Winter Quarters, the main encampment for the 25,000 Latter-day Saints traveling to the Great Basin.
