What Happened On This Day In LDS Church History? On this day in LDS Church History, in 1846, Brigham Young administers the last ordinances in the Nauvoo Temple for saints fleeing west. Over 5,600 saints were endowed and many families were sealed together in the Nauvoo Temple for 10 December 1845-- 7 February 1846, before fleeing Nauvoo.
